Maharashtra COVID report: 19,218 new cases, 378 deaths today

Mumbai, Sep 04, 2020: A total of 13,289 patients were discharged and 19,218 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 1617 new cases were reported in Pune city today. Today, 378 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 3.01%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 8,63,773 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

 

According to the health department, 6,25,773 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 3.01%. As of today, there are 2,10,978 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 72.51% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.01%. Currently, 14,51,343 people are in home quarantine and 36,873 people are in institutional quarantine.

 

Out of 44,66,249 laboratory samples, 8,63,062 have been tested positive (19.32%) for COVID-19 until today.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 3,936,747 across the country. Out of this, 3,037,151 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 68,472 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 831,124 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
