MHA Issues Notification To Fill Around 1:30 Lakh CRPF Constable Posts

New Delhi, 9th April 2023: The Ministry of Home Affairs has officially announced the hiring of almost 1.30 lakh constables (General Duty) for the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), creating a significant increase in employment.

Candidates that meet the requirements can apply for the positions at crpf.gov.in, the site’s official recruitment portal.

Around 1,29,929 open vacancies will be filled through this recruitment campaign by the CRPF, with 1,25,262 of those earmarked for males and 4,667 for women. 10% of open positions must be set aside for former Agniveers.

The chosen individuals will receive a remuneration ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 per month. The candidate’s age must fall within the range of 18 and 23 years old to apply for the position.

Candidates from the SC and ST categories would have a five-year age relaxation. The age restriction is three years for OBC candidates.

Candidates must have completed matriculation or the equivalent from a board accredited by the Central or State Government, or equivalent Army qualification in the case of ex-Army personnel, to be eligible to apply for the positions.

A physical efficiency test, a medical exam, and a writing test will be used to choose candidates.
