New Delhi, 15th June 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released admit cards for the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination scheduled to be held on June 21. Candidates can download their hall tickets from the official NEET website.

According to the NTA, some candidates experienced difficulties downloading their admit cards during the initial phase due to heavy traffic on the website following the release of the hall tickets. The agency attributed the issue to a high volume of simultaneous login attempts and said the portal was being monitored to ensure smooth access for all applicants.

“Around 4 lakh candidates for NEET UG 2026 Examination on 21st June have downloaded their Admit Cards. We are aware that some of you are facing technical glitches or server issues in accessing your admit cards. Our teams have been working towards resolving all these issues. We are there, for you and will ensure that very soon, all candidates get their admit cards. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted” NTA said in a statement.

To access the admit card, candidates must log in using their application number, password and security captcha. The NTA has also advised applicants to verify their bank account details for any refund-related process before downloading the document.

Ahead of the re-examination, the agency has introduced a series of measures aimed at improving the examination experience for candidates. The test will be conducted in a single shift from 2 pm to 5.15 pm, with an additional 15 minutes provided to complete mandatory formalities such as attendance verification and invigilation procedures.

The NTA has also increased the rough-work space available in the question booklet. Candidates will now receive four pages for rough work instead of two. Two pages will be placed immediately after the instruction sheet and two at the end of the booklet, a move intended to make rough work more convenient, particularly for left-handed candidates.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, while referring to the revised arrangements, appealed to students to remain focused and approach the examination with confidence.

The re-examination comes with enhanced logistical support and candidate-friendly provisions as the agency seeks to ensure a smoother testing process.
