Nagpur, 24th May 2022The Higher and Technical Education Minister, Uday Samant while speaking at the graduation ceremony of Nagpur Government Technical College assured that the graduation ceremony will be held next year by stopping the system of convocation ceremonies imposed by the British. He was speaking at the graduation ceremony of Nagpur Government Technical College.

Samant also talked about reducing the time for the consecration ceremony.

He said, “We want an energetic program like an MBA. The British are gone, now we will start our traditional practice. Convocation procession needs energetic students. But many students fall asleep since the program is too long. Student programs should be for them and their celebration. Such a frightening silence at the graduation ceremony does not feel good. The convocation ceremony should be an exciting event. Youth art should be the program. The students are important whether they will think about what they want or not. Therefore, the practice of the convocation ceremony should be changed. The ceremonies will be held in Marathi style from now on.”
