NTA Releases JEE Main 2024 Syllabus and Exam Application Process Begins
New Delhi, 2nd November 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the official notification for the JEE Main 2024 examination, signalling the commencement of the application process. Prospective candidates have until 30 November 2023, to apply for the first session of the exam. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website nta.ac.in to check the notification and proceed with their applications.
Concurrently with releasing the application details, the NTA has also published the syllabus for the B.Tech/B.E. exam on their official website at https://nta.ac.in. This syllabus encompasses Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects, available for download on the portal for candidates’ reference.
The first session of the JEE Main exam is slated to be held in January. Scheduled to begin on 24 January, the exam will continue until 1 February 2024. Detailed information regarding the exam date, center, and shift will be conveyed to candidates through the issuance of admit cards. The admit cards will be released three days before the examination.
Currently, the dates for the release of the answer key and response sheets for the exam have not been confirmed. However, the results are expected to be announced on 12 February 2024.
JEE Main 2024 Syllabus: How to Apply Online for the First Session
To fill out the JEE Main application form, candidates should first visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Subsequently, access the Session 1 registration link. Complete the registration process, log in to fill out the application form, input the necessary information, upload documents, and make the required payment. Submit the form and save the confirmation page for reference.
The NTA’s disclosure of the exam syllabus and the initiation of the application process marks the beginning of the journey for aspirants aiming to undertake the JEE Main 2024 exam in January.
