Pune, 28th October 2023: Ola, a leading ride-sharing platform, released a statement addressing a fire incident involving one of their scooters in Pune. The company assured that the customer involved in the incident is safe and unharmed.

According to Ola’s investigation, the incident occurred due to the use of aftermarket parts in the scooter, leading to a short circuit. The findings further revealed that the battery of the vehicle remains intact and functional.

The company urged its customers to exclusively utilize genuine spare parts and accessories for all service requirements.
