Pankaj Sharma Appointed as President of Kinetic Green’s 2-Wheeler Division
Pune, July 10, 2023 – Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Limited, a pioneering electric vehicle manufacturer in India, is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Pankaj Sharma as the President of its 2-Wheeler division. In his new role, Pankaj will spearhead the global and India strategy for electric two-wheelers at Kinetic Green, focusing on disruptive marketing initiatives, expanding the product portfolio, devising sales strategies, and establishing an extensive network of dealers nationwide.
With an illustrious career spanning more than three decades in the automotive industry, Pankaj brings a wealth of sales and marketing expertise to the Kinetic Green team. He has held esteemed national leadership positions at renowned organizations such as Royal Enfield, Volkswagen, Maruti Suzuki, and Tata Motors. Notably, his recent experience leading marketing and go-to-market strategies for electric two-wheelers at Ola Electric and Revolt further complements his role at Kinetic Green, aligning with their vision of establishing a thriving electric two-wheeler business.
Pankaj embarked on his automotive journey in the commercial vehicle sales department at Tata Motors. During his tenure at Maruti Suzuki, he achieved the remarkable distinction of becoming one of the youngest members to join the company’s Management Committee. Additionally, he became the first Indian to reach the Upper Management Cadre at Volkswagen, where he played a pivotal role in formulating strategies and launching premium segment cars in India. Under his leadership, Ola Electric successfully implemented its innovative direct-to-customer (DTC) digital business model.
