Patna Coaching Firing Case: Khan Sir Named in FIR, Police Investigation Deepens
Patna, 5th June 2026: Popular educator and YouTuber Khan Sir may face arrest in connection with the firing incident at a coaching institute in Patna after police reportedly named him in the FIR and intensified their investigation into the case.
The controversy stems from an incident that took place near a coaching institute in the Kankarbagh area, where a dispute allegedly escalated into violence. During the incident, armed security personnel were seen opening fire, triggering panic among students and residents. Videos of the firing soon surfaced on social media, prompting police action.
According to police officials, the investigation revealed that the security guards involved in the firing were allegedly linked to Khan Sir’s coaching institute. Following the examination of CCTV footage and viral videos, authorities added Khan Sir’s name to the FIR and launched efforts to determine his role in the incident.
Patna Police have stated that multiple teams are investigating the matter and are questioning individuals connected to the coaching institute. Officials indicated that further action, including possible arrest, would depend on the evidence gathered during the probe.
The firing incident has sparked widespread discussion across Bihar, particularly among students preparing for competitive examinations. Several student groups have demanded strict action against those responsible for creating an atmosphere of fear around educational institutions.
