PCMC: 228 New Covid Positive Cases, 472 Discharged Today
Pimpri, 16 October, 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 228 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 472 people got discharged from hospitals while 07 people died today.
According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 85,114 out of which 80,752 have recovered while 1464 have died. 2209 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 381 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 596 have died and 6010 have been cured.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 7,370,468 across the country. Out of this, 64,53,779 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 112,161 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 804,528 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
