PCMC Presents Rs 7112 Crore Budget Before Standing Committee

Pimpri, February 18, 2021: Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), which is one of the richest municipal bodies in Maharashtra, today presented its budget for the year 2021-22 before the Standing Committee. The budget was presented by newly appointed municipal commissioner Rajesh Patil.

The budget of Rs 5,588.78 crore with various schemes of the State Government, a total budget of Rs 7,112 crore was presented.

It was presented before a special Standing Committee meeting held under the chairmanship of Santosh Londhe. Chief auditor Jitendra Kolambe, Rajesh Patil, additional municipal commissioner Ajit Pawar, Vikas Dhakane presented it.

It was the 39th budget session of the municipal body. The special meeting has been adjourned till February 24 to study the budget provisions.

Former municipal commissioner Shravan Hardikar had made the budget but he was transferred on February 12.
