PCMC Removes 25 Illegal Polls On Service Road Wall Near Bhumkar Chowk
Pimpri Chinchwad 10th July 2023: The officials of the signage department of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation have removed at least 25 iron polls illegally installed on the sevice road near Bhumkar Chowk. The iron polls were installed illegally on the wall and the PCMC officials took action after the illegal polls were brought to the notice of the seniors.
A legal action is also being taken on the matter, said PCMC in a statement. Interestingly nobody from the municipal corporation noticed when the polls were being installed.
The civic body has taken action against multiple illegal hoardings and banners installed in the city in the last few months. The drive against illegal hoardings was intensified after a major iron hoarding collapse incident reported in Kiwale in which five people had lost their lives.
