Shivajinagar, 10th July 2023: Prakash Singh Bisht, a resident of Pune, yesterday experienced a road rage incident at the Deccan bus stop. Around 1.20 PM, while he was riding his bike towards Kothrud, an altercation occurred with another biker, leading to a heated exchange.

According to Bisht, as a result of heavy traffic, both bikes came dangerously close to colliding side by side. Thankfully, no damage occurred to either vehicle or the riders. However, the other biker abruptly stopped his bike in the middle of the busy road and proceeded to physically assault Bisht, hurling abusive words in Marathi, including derogatory terms referring to outsiders.

In response to the situation, Bisht parked his bike on the side of the road. However, due to the crowded environment and the perception that he was at fault, onlookers surrounded him. Recognizing the severity of the situation, Bisht immediately dialed the emergency helpline number, Dial 100, for assistance. He also noticed the presence of traffic police, operating a towing vehicle nearby, and called out to them for help.

Surprisingly, the traffic police advised him to seek assistance at the Deccan Police station. Meanwhile, Bisht managed to capture the other person’s photo, as well as his bike details.

The individual involved in the incident has been identified as Baliram Dole, riding a TVS bike.

Bisht and Dole subsequently proceeded to the Deccan police station to report the incident. However, the police officers at the station directed Bisht to visit the Balgandharva Police Chowki to register a Non-Cognizable (N.C.) complaint. Unfortunately, Dole managed to escape from the police station during this process.

Undeterred, Bisht visited the Balgandharva police chowki and officially registered his complaint.

Despite filing an official complaint, Bisht has not received any updates regarding the case from Pune City Police, even after more than 24 hours.
