PM Narendra Modi Sent Saffron Chadar For Ajmer Sharif Dargah

Ajmer, February 15, 2021: PM Narendra Modi has sent a sheet to the Ajmer Sharif Dargah. A chadar was offered by PM Modi during the 809th Urs festival at the Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. This saffron-colored chaddar offered by PM Modi will be offered at Ajmer by Minority Welfare Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on behalf of the Prime Minister. Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti has a tradition of offering chadar during the Urs Festival at the Dargah in Ajmer. On this occasion, sheets have been sent from all the political personalities of the country.

PM Narendra Modi himself has provided information about offering the ‘chadar’ by tweeting. Ajmer Sharif is considered to be one of the holy shrines of the country, where millions of people arrive every year. Giving information about the chadar offering, PM Narendra Modi said, ‘Ajmer Sharif has been handed over the chadar for the Dargah. It will be offered on the occasion of 809th Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.” Congress President Sonia Gandhi has also been sending sheets on Ajmer Sharif.
