Pune: 6000 Saplings Distributed By Rotary Club

Pune, 9th June 2021: Kavach Youth Festival is an annual gathering of youth with various activities including competitive ones to celebrate the month of May as a Rotary Youth Services Month. It is organized by the Rotary Youth Brigade.

As part of the celebration this year,  more than 6000 saplings were donated at the hands of Rotary Club’s Pune District Governor Rashmi Kulkarni on the occasion of World Environment Day. These saplings were planted at various places in the city through various branches of Rotary.

Rotary District 3131 Youth Director Vasantrao Malunjkar, R.Y. E. Director Ashok Bhandari, N.G.S. E. Director Neeraj Mehta, President of Rotary Club of Pune Parvati Maya Phatak, President of Rotary Club of Pune Camp Ashwini Shah, President of Rotary Club Panvel Elite Ashish Mehta, President of Rotary Club of Pune Warje Vinayak Patil, District Rotaract of District 3131 Rotaract Representatives Shraddha Lamkhade, Rotax president Khush Sanghvi and others were present on the occasion.
