Pune: Ajit Pawar’s Loyal Colleague, Baburao Chandere, Accused of Assaulting Rickshaw Driver; Video Viral On Social Media
Sus, 25th July 2023: A video capturing a controversial incident involving former standing committee chairman, Baburao Chandere, a loyal colleague of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), has gone viral on social media. The video depicts an altercation between Chandere and a rickshaw driver, raising concerns in Pune’s political circles.
In the video, which has sparked heated discussions, Baburao Chandere can be seen engaging in a heated argument with the rickshaw driver. Moments later, the situation escalates, and Chandere is seen allegedly resorting to physical aggression against the rickshaw driver.
When questioned about the incident, Chandere strongly denied any involvement in the rickshaw driver’s assault. He asserted that he was present at Sus chowk during the incident, where a heavy downpour had resulted in a massive traffic jam. Chandere claimed that for several hours, he was actively working to ease the traffic congestion caused by the incessant rain.
According to his account of the incident, the rickshaw driver attempted to enter the congested area suddenly, and Chandere intervened to prevent further traffic chaos. He expressed concern that the rickshaw driver’s actions would exacerbate the already difficult situation on the road.
The incident has raised eyebrows and triggered discussions among the citizens of Pune, with many expressing their views on social media platforms. Calls for an investigation into the matter and appropriate action against those involved have also emerged from various quarters.
