Pune: Army Jawan Dies By Suicide After Being Harassed By Wife And In-Laws
Wanowrie, 10th February 2022: Gorakh Nanabhau Shelar, a 24-year-old soldier from Pune, died by suicide on February 6. He hung himself at home after being harassed by his wife and his in-laws.
He was working as a Nursing Assistant at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC). His wife allegedly threatened to file a case against him and his family members.
Now, an FIR has been registered at Wanowrie police station against his wife Ashwini Patil and in-laws Yuvraj Patil, Sangita Patil, Yogesh Patil, Bhagyashree Patil, all residents of Nandurbar. They have been booked for abetment of suicide.
