Pune: Cricketer Rohit Sharma Sells His Bungalow In Lonavala At Less Than Purchase Price

Lonavala, 2nd July 2021: Indian cricket team opener Rohit Sharma has sold his Lonavala bungalow for less than the purchase price. Rohit has sold the bungalow at a loss of Rs 75 lakh. Rohit had purchased the bungalow in 2016 in a project called Discovery in Lonavla.

Rohit had bought the 15th bungalow in the project, which is built by Estu Reality. The area of this bungalow is 6329 square feet.

According to Mid Day, actor Sunil Shetty set up this big project called Discovery in Lonavala in 2016. The project is spread over a total of seven acres and has more than 21 bungalows. Each of the bungalows in the project has a private terrace and is owned by Estu Reality. Sunil Shetty and his wife Mana are some of the other partners in the company.

The sale of the bungalow was registered on June 1, 2021, after the transaction was completed on May 29, 2021. It is clear from the documents that stamp duty of Rs 26.25 lakh has been paid for the transaction of this bungalow. Rohit had bought the bungalow for Rs 6 crore in 2016 and had paid a stamp duty of Rs 30 lakh.
