Pune: BJP City President Jagdish Mulik Meets PMC Commissioner Vikram Kumar To Discuss Various Projects
Pune, 13th March 2023: To discuss the necessary allowance for various projects in the upcoming Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) budget, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) city president, Jagdish Mulik, and former Hadapsar seat MLA Yogesh Tilekar met the Pune Municipal Commissioner and Administrator, Vikram Kumar.
Mulik stressed the necessity for the forthcoming budget to prevent tax increases and asked the PMC to support several projects. With the help of the Center and State governments, he urged the PMC to expand the metro network to every area of Pune. He recommended that the PMC prepare a DPR and make plans for NEO metro projects.
Together with the commencement of the Punyadasham bus service, Mulik also asked for the allotment of funding to boost the number of bus services supplied by Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML).
Also, he stated how crucial it was to finish the 24/7 water supply network, along with beginning sewage cleanup actions before the rain. He brought up the topic of severe flooding and rain from the previous year, which had harmed the populace.
