Pune City: 1964 New COVID Cases, 45 Deaths Today; Check Cases In Your Area
Pune, September 17, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 2219 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1964 new patients were detected while 45 people died today. Today swab samples of 6549 people were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 126,532 out of which 106,197 have been cured while 2963 have died. There are still 17,372 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 939 critical patients out of which 479 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 5,118,253 across the country. Out of this, 4,025,079 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 83,198 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 1,009,976 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
