Pune: Dr. Erin N. Nagarvala Boarding School Students Lead Awareness Drive to Save Rivers
Kalyani Nagar, 9th October 2025: In a thoughtful initiative to promote environmental consciousness among children, students of Dr. Erin N. Nagarvala Boarding School conducted an awareness drive focused on river conservation. The event was held around the Kalyani Nagar Joggers Park, where students interacted with morning walkers and visitors, urging them to “Save Our Rivers and Protect Them.”
Carrying banners and distributing hand bands with eco-friendly messages, the young participants spread awareness about the importance of preserving water bodies and maintaining ecological balance. Teachers accompanying the students guided them throughout the drive, explaining how individual actions can collectively contribute to environmental sustainability.
The initiative underscored the school’s continued commitment to nurturing social and environmental awareness among its students. It also served as a reminder to the local community about the urgent need to conserve rivers, which are vital lifelines for both people and nature.
