Pune: FIR Registered Against Orient Developers And Shivam Promoters For Not Handing Over Booked Flat

Kothrud, 15th October 2021: A case has been registered by Kothrud police station, Pune city police, against builders Orient Developers and Shivam Promoters for not giving possession of a booked flat and selling it to another customer.

Based on a complaint from a 50-year-old woman from Thane, the FIR has been registered against Shivam Developers, Dibendu Moitra of Gokhale road, Mahendra Yewale of Ghole Road, Shivam Promoters, Ramesh Jain of Ahmednagar.

According to police, Orient Developers and Shivam Promoters were building a residential project Lotus at Yevalewadi. The complainant had booked a flat in 2018 by paying Rs 18 lakhs.

However, she was not been given possession of the flat and it was sold to some other customer.

Initially, police had refused to register the case. She filed a private complaint in the court which directed police to register a case and investigate the issue.

Accordingly, the FIR has been registered for cheating. Assistant Police Inspector Vikas Babar is further investigating further.
