Pune: Hinjawadi Police Solve Murder Case With Help Of Slippers

Bavdhan, 5th November 2021: A 27-year-old man was killed due to an extra-marital affair in Bavdhan in October. On October 22, the man’s mother had lodged a complaint with the Hinjawadi police station under Pimpri Chinchwad police that her son was missing.

Police have now tracked down the accused with the help of the deceased’s slippers. Three people, including the main accused, have been arrested in the case.

The deceased’s mother had found one of the slippers of the victim outside the yard of one of the accused’s house. From there, the police reached the main suspect. The victim, a resident of Bavdhan, was reported missing on October 22. After launching the investigation, police investigated various possibilities including abduction.

The house where the slippers were found belonged to a man whose wife had an affair with the victim. On the night of October 21, the main accused saw two missed calls of the victim on his wife’s mobile. The victim had made these phone calls from his mobile. He then decided to finish the young man.

At night the victim had come to meet the accused’s wife. At that time, the accused and his two accomplices attacked the victim with a sharp weapon. The three accused then took the body to a secluded place in Urwande in Mulshi taluka and burnt it.

Police arrested one accused from Pune. The main accused and his accomplice was arrested from Madhya Pradesh.
