Pune: Husband Kicked Out His Wife For Not Being Able To Breastfeed
Pune, 7th June 2022: Husband kicked his wife out of the house after finding out that she is unable to breastfeed and took the 15-day-old baby away from the mother. After the span of one and half month after filing a case at the court, the mother finally got the custody of her baby.
Rakesh and Rina (names changed) got married in September 2019. She gave birth on April 3. Within a few days, she was discharged from the hospital. Her husband kicked her out of the house on April 18 after knowing that she was unable to breastfeed. She then applied to the court for custody of the baby.
She listened to all the doctor’s advice. Still, she was kicked out which deprived the innocent baby of mother’s love. The mother has the natural right on the baby. As the baby was not even a 60-day-old, the custody was asked by the mother.
The father of the child accused the mother saying that she has a mental illness and she is unable to take care of the baby. However, the court ordered that custody of the child be handed over to the mother. Court also wrote an affidavit to take care of the child. At the same time, the father is also allowed to visit the child, even though the mother has custody of the child. The order was passed by Judicial Magistrate (First Class) of Pimpri.
