Pune Incident: Police Sub-Inspector Assaulted, Mother And Son Arrested
Katraj, 14th June 2023: A shocking incident unfolded at the Katraj police chowky when a police sub-inspector was assaulted and threatened by a woman and her son.
The accused individuals, identified as Pritam Chunnilal Pardeshi and his mother Sujata Chunnilal Pardeshi, both residents of Katraj, Pune, have been apprehended by the Bharti Vidyapeeth Police.
The incident began when a heated argument erupted between Pritam Pardeshi and another individual, Akshay Pandurang Malve, aged 23. Subsequently, Pritam and his mother arrived at the police chowky, where they started causing a commotion. Acting swiftly, Police Sub-Inspector Nitin Tanaji Jadhav approached the duo and advised them to maintain decorum within the police premises.
In a surprising turn of events, Pritam Pardeshi responded to the police officer’s instructions with a threat, proclaiming, “Do you know who I am? I will strip you of your uniform!” Not stopping there, Sujata Pardeshi joined in and physically assaulted Sub-Inspector Jadhav.
Alarmed by the incident, Sub-Inspector Jadhav wasted no time and immediately registered a complaint against the mother and son at the Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station. Prompt action was taken by the police, resulting in the arrest of Pritam and Sujata Pardeshi.
