Pune: Khed-Shivapur Toll Booth Rates to Increase from April 1

Khed Shivapur, 29th March 2024: Amit Bhatia, the Toll Contractor Company Officer, has announced an increase in toll collection at the Khed-Shivapur toll booth situated on the Pune-Satara highway effective from April 1. This increase, amounting to approximately 2.5 %, is following the agreement between the Toll Information System and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), which stipulates annual toll rate adjustments.
Bhatia emphasized the necessity of this toll hike and urged travellers to cooperate with the adjustment. Under the revised toll rates, fees for cars, jeeps, and light vehicles will see an increase of Rs. 5, raising the toll from Rs. 115 to Rs. 120. Similarly, light commercial vehicles will face a Rs. 5 increment, with their toll rising from Rs. 185 to Rs. 190.
Bus trucks will encounter a Rs. 10 hike, requiring them to pay Rs. 400, while heavy vehicles will witness a Rs. 5 increase, raising their toll from Rs. 415 to Rs. 420. Additionally, the monthly pass for local commuters will also escalate by ten rupees, reaching Rs. 340 from April 1 onwards.
Bhatia emphasized the management’s commitment to facilitating toll collection from all local vehicle drivers and appealed to residents to support the initiative by availing themselves of the monthly pass priced at Rs. 340.
