Pune: Koyta Gang Active Again, Attacks Man In Parvati Paytha Area
Pune, 20th March 2023: The police have taken action against the criminals spreading terror in different parts of the city. While the crimes of the Koyta gang have reduced somewhat since last month, the Koyta gang terrorized the Parvati village area recently. There is an atmosphere of terror among the citizens after the accused stabbed a youth with koytas.
In this case, the Swargate police have registered a case against Navnath Wadkar and Shekhar Waghmare, both of Janata Vasahat, and Parvati Paytha. The injured person has been identified as Ayush Chavan (21), a resident of Avalwadi, Wagholi, Nagar Road. Chavan and his friends -Ashwin Renuse and Musa Patel – had left the Parvati Patha area on a two-wheeler. The accused had quarrelled with Ashwin Renuse a few days ago.
They stopped Chavan when he was on a two-wheeler, stabbed him, and ran away. Chavan was seriously injured in the attack by the accused. Police nabbed the two accused who escaped. Police sub-inspector Ashok Yewle is investigating.
