Chikhali, 24th October 2023: Bhosari Constituency MLA Mahesh Landge has been actively pursuing the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) for the acquisition of land about seven roads in the Chikhali and Talawade areas for the past year, conducting numerous meetings in this regard. As a result, a camp has been scheduled by the PCMC, to take place in Chikhali Gaothan at municipal schools on the 26th and 27th of October 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The ongoing proceedings for the land acquisition of seven roads as per the approved development plan in Mauje Chikhli and Talawade are being facilitated through the Collector, Pune, under the Land Acquisition Act 2013. The acquisition process for some of these roads will commence shortly, and the roads in question are as follows:

1) A 12m/18m wide DP road, measuring 1370 meters in length, extending from Indraprastha Mangal’s office at Chikhali to Santpeeth.

2) Roads with varying widths of 12m, 24m, and 30m, measuring 2030 meters in length, extending from Sane Chowk in Chikhali to Chikhali village.

3) A 30m wide DP road, measuring 2250 meters in length, extending from Dehu Alandi to Sonavane Vasti in Chikhali.

4) A 24m wide road, measuring 2000 meters in length, extending from Chikhali Chowk in Chikhali to Sonawane Wasti.

5) The remaining 24m wide road, measuring 400 meters in length, extends from Triveninagar Chowk to Talawade Chowk at Talawade.

6) An 18m DP road, measuring 1950 meters in length, connecting Talawade Canbay Chowk to Nigdi Spine Road at Talawade.

7) A 12.00m riverside road at Talawade and a 24.00m road on Chikhali Talawade Shive, measuring 2100 meters in length.

It’s essential to note that the option of Transferable Development Rights (TDR) or Floor Space Index (FSI) will no longer be available to landowners or developers following the announcement of the award under the Land Acquisition Act. As a part of the camp’s objectives, landowners will have the opportunity to view site maps and take advance possession of road-affected areas through Form ‘A’ and ‘B’ on the spot.

Subsequently, TDR/FSI for the affected areas will be issued according to the Integrated Development Control and Promotion Regulations once landowners submit their proposals along with the requisite documents.

On the day of the camp, landowners are requested to bring their 7/12 extracts and any supporting ownership documentation. Forms ‘A’ and ‘B’ will be provided on the spot, and the Municipal Corporation appeals to landowners to cooperate by submitting the necessary documents and taking possession of the designated areas in advance.
