Pune: Lonavala’s Bhushi Dam Overflows, Attract Tourists In Large Numbers
Lonavala, 6th July 2022: The Bhushi dam, a tourist attraction point in the monsoon in Lonavala, has started overflowing. This has caused the crowding of tourists at the Bhushi dam. The water is flowing from the steps of the dam.
For the past two days, torrential rains have started in the Lonavala area. On Tuesday, Lonavala recorded 166 mm rainfall.

The Lonavala tourist destination is well-known in India. In the monsoons, the Bhushi dam is the centre of attraction for tourists, which hundreds of tourists visit every year. There was no rainfall in June, but as July began, the heavy rains lashed Lonavala.
