Pune, 7th January 2022: Due to the maintenance activity of the main CNG pipeline in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad the supply of CNG is disrupted or closed since yesterday.

Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited (MNGL) independent director Rajesh Pande said, “There has been maintenance work of the CNG main pipeline that has been scheduled between January 6 and 11. As a precautionary measure, it has been instructed to all the pumps to inform the customers.”

Following this, long queues of auto-rickshaws and cars were seen at several CNG pumps across the city in the evening on Wednesday.

The operators have been instructed that “if the pressure goes below 11 points, then they have to stop the gas filling operations. The pressure should be maintained up to 14.5-point pressure level”.
