Pune: Man Dies By Suicide After Being Defamed By Wife With False Complaint
Warje, 1st November 2021: A 33-year-old man allegedly died by suicide after his wife allegedly defamed him with a false complaint.
The deceased has been identified as Prakash Sambhaji Chowghule. The incident took place on 29th September.
Based on a complaint from Girish Sambhaji Chowghule (30) of Warje, an FIR has been registered against Snehal Prakash Chowghule (28).
According to Warje police station under Pune city police, Prakash’s wife Snehal made false allegations against him and defamed him among relatives and in his company. Prakash consumed poisonous medicines as he was fed up with insults. He was rushed to Mulshi Hospital in Pirangut for treatment. However, he died during treatment.
