Pune: MCOCA Against Three Gangs In Pimpri-Chinchwad, Surprise Check On 345 Criminals; Police on Action Mode After Series Of Shootings
Pimpri, 9th December 2022: Pimpri Chinchwad police have been in ‘action mode’ after three incidents of shooting in a row and have started searching for the culprits.
Action under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) has been taken against three criminal gangs, two from Chakan and Talegaon Dabhade and one more. Meanwhile, 345 criminals were also checked.
The names of the gangs that have been dealt with are; gang leader Satyam alias Pappu Dattatray Kad (22), a resident of Kadachi Wadi, Chakan along with his accomplice, Kunal alias Baba Dheeraj Thakur (22) from Talegaon along with his accomplices and Karan Singh Rajput Singh Dudhani (25), a resident of Ramtekdi. Crimes of murder, attempted murder, grievous hurt, extortion, kidnapping, etc have been registered against these accused.
After the shooting incident, the police started hunting the criminals in the city. Around 345 criminals who have got bail, were released on parole, and have more than two offenses were also checked.
