Pune : Metro To Run Services Till Midnight During Ganesh Festival, To Operate Till 2 Am On Immersion Day
Pune 18th Sept 2023: The Pune Metro authorities have announced to run services till late at night on several days during the Ganesh festival. The decision has been taken considering high number of visitors visiting the city areas during the festival.
According to officials, the matro service will run up to 12 am instead of 10 pm between September 22 and 27. Similarly, the trains will run up to 2 am on September 28 as a large number of people will be visiting the city areas on the immersion day.
It may be noted that the Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar had earlier urged the metro officials to extend the services during the Ganesh festival. The metro officials had already announced to start the services from 6 am in the morning every day.
