Pune, 19th October 2021: Now there is a golden opportunity for those who want to buy a house in and around Pune. On the occasion of Diwali, a lottery will be drawn for more than 3000 houses by Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA), Pune.

It is noteworthy that about 1500 of these houses are from those reserved 20 per cent from reputed projects in the city, said Nitin Mane, Chief Officer, Pune MHADA.

In the last one and half years, 8000 houses have been allotted.

Last year, MHADA made a record by scoring a hat-trick in a housing lottery on the occasion of Gudipadwa. At that time the lottery was drawn by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and over 2500 houses in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Sangli, Solapur, Satara and Kolhapur districts were allotted.

Similarly, this year Pune MHADA is drawing a lottery for more than 3000 houses on the occasion of Diwali.

Speaking about this Mane said, “The Coronavirus outbreak and the lockdown have crippled financial conditions of many families. We are making efforts to provide affordable housing to each family from economically weaker sections in the city.”
