Hinjawadi, 26th December 2025: The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) has issued notices to real estate developers Reyaansh Logistics, Gera Projects, Godrej Properties, and Pegassus Properties, directing them to take measures to control air and noise pollution in the Megapolis area of Hinjawadi IT Park.

Residents of the area had lodged multiple complaints with the industrial authority, citing dust accumulation on roads caused by improperly covered and overloaded trucks transporting earth and construction debris. Megapolis, located in Phase III of Hinjawadi, is a large residential hub with multiple ongoing construction projects.

MIDC Executive Engineer RG Totla said, “The dust and debris from construction vehicles pose serious health risks for residents in the Megapolis area. We recently met with them and have instructed the developers to strictly follow environmental guidelines.”

In response, all four developers stated that they adhere to environmental regulations and have submitted their compliance reports in reply to the notices issued by MIDC.
