Pune Navratri 2025: Book Online Darshan Pass for Chatushrungi Temple Now
Pune, 22nd September 2025: The Shree Devi Chatushrungi Temple Trust has announced that the Navratri Festival 2025 will be observed from September 22 to October 2, promising a vibrant blend of devotion, rituals, and cultural events. In keeping with a tradition spanning over a century, the temple will remain open round-the-clock for devotees throughout the festival.
The celebrations will commence with Ghatasthapana at 8:30 am on September 22, performed by trustee-manager Ravindra Angal, followed by Abhishek, Rudrabhishek, Mahavastra offering, and Mahapuja, conducted by Shriram Narayan Kande Guruji.
Daily rituals will include Maha Aarti at 10 am and 8 pm, accompanied by traditional Shankhnaad. Devotees can also participate in bhajans, kirtans, pravachans, and recitations of sacred texts such as Shri Sukt, Lalita Sahasranam, Mahishasur Mardini Stotra, and other Vedic chants.
Special Highlights
September 27: Aajibai’s Bhondla at Nivara Old Age Home for women, organized by SuYog Mitra Mandal, Gokhalenagar.
October 1, 7 pm: Navchandi Hom.
October 2 (Dussehra, 5 pm): Simollanghan Palkhi procession, featuring bands, dhol-tasha, lezim, nagara, choughada, and a flower shower from a helicopter. A troupe of Marathi film artists will lead the dhol-tasha performance.
