Pune: Night Temperature Continues To Drop, Reaches 13.2 Degrees
Pune, 30th October 2022: Pune city recorded a further drop in minimum night temperature on Saturday (29th October). The city recorded the season’s lowest temperature of 13.2 degrees Celsius. While the temperature is falling, the nighttime drizzle has increased as the temperature remains at a seasonal low. Therefore, citizens who used to keep raincoats and umbrellas close by just last week now have to carry sweaters and ear caps.
According to the forecast given by the Pune Observatory, the cold condition will continue throughout the week. However, the temperature is likely to fluctuate to some extent.
From the day the monsoon receded, the temperature in the city dropped by five to six degrees and became cold. This drop in temperature has been continuing since 23rd October. Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad city and district also have clear skies and dry weather conditions at present. Therefore, the atmosphere is favourable for the reduction of night temperature. As a result, the temperature is decreasing to some extent every day, and the lowest temperature is recorded. Similarly, the lowest temperature in October is also being recorded in the last four years. As the sky is clear during the day too, the heat of the sun is felt to some extent, and the maximum temperature of the day is increasing to some extent.
Pune city recorded a minimum temperature of 13.3 degrees Celsius on Saturday. This temperature is 2.5 degrees below average. So it is very cold in the morning. Light fog is also visible in some areas in the morning and early morning. According to the forecast of the Pune observatory, this drop in temperature is likely to continue for another two days. After that, the minimum temperature may increase slightly. The day’s maximum temperature was recorded at 30.3 degrees Celsius on Saturday. There is also a possibility of ups and downs in the next week.
Pune city recorded a minimum temperature of 14.4 degrees Celsius on 24th October and 13.8 degrees Celsius on 25th October. The minimum temperature was recorded at 14.3 degrees Celsius on the 26th and 27th of October. On 28th October, the temperature dropped again to record a minimum of 13.8 degrees Celsius. However, on 29th October, the temperature dropped to this season’s lowest 13.3 degrees Celsius. The temperature in October was also the lowest in the last four years. Earlier in 2018, the minimum temperature was recorded on 30th October at 13.2 degrees Celsius.
