Pimpri-Chinchwad, 29th June 2021: At present, a large-scale vaccination campaign is being implemented in Maharashtra and efforts are being made by the administration at the state as well as district level to ensure that everyone gets vaccinated. Along with the general public, many government employees have not yet been vaccinated.

However, such government employees in Pimpri Chinchwad will not get a salary if they have not vaccinated themselves. An order has been issued in this regard by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). The employees have to get themselves vaccinated by 20 July.

Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Patil has issued an order and warned the employees to get vaccinated. A total of 7,479 officers and employees work in the corporation. However, despite repeated requests, many have not been vaccinated.

Vaccination is going on a large scale across the country. Despite repeated requests from the corporation, many officers and employees have not been vaccinated. Some people have taken the first dose while others have not. That is why Municipal Commissioner Patil has given a deadline of July 20 to the officers and employees.
