Pune: Pay Property Tax Online by September 30 to Get 4% Discount in Pimpri Chinchwad
Pimpri, 11th September 2025: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has announced a special 4 percent discount on property tax for citizens who pay online before September 30, 2025. Property owners who have not yet cleared their property tax dues can avail of this benefit by completing the payment through the online portal.
Property tax is a crucial source of revenue for the city, enabling the Municipal Corporation to implement essential services such as roads, water supply, health, and sanitation.
Pradeep Jambhale Patil, Additional Commissioner of PCMC, said, “The 4 percent discount for citizens paying their property tax by September 30 is a great opportunity. Timely tax payment helps the Municipal Corporation provide important services efficiently, and we urge everyone to pay online before the deadline.”
Avinash Shinde, Assistant Commissioner of PCMC, added, “Paying property tax is not just a responsibility but also a direct contribution to the progress of the city. Citizens who pay their taxes on time without arrears enable the Municipal Corporation to deliver services more effectively. Those who have not yet paid should do so immediately.”
The Municipal Corporation regularly appeals to citizens to pay their taxes promptly, as on-time payment ensures the uninterrupted implementation of development projects, civic facilities, and essential services. Along with the newly announced 4 percent discount, PCMC often provides concessions to encourage timely payment.
How to Pay Property Tax Online:
Visit the PCMC website at www.pcmcindia.gov.in.
Click on the ‘Citizen’ option and go to the ‘Property Tax Department’.
Enter the mobile number or property number linked to the property.
Enter the OTP received on your mobile.
Select the ‘Pay Bill’ option and pay the property tax with the 4 percent discount.
The Municipal Corporation has urged as many property owners as possible to take advantage of this discount before the deadline of September 30, 2025.
