Pune: PCMC Issues Revised Lockdown Guidelines; Timings Of Shops, Restaurants Increased

Pimpri, 8th August 2021: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has now issued a revised order for shops, malls, restaurants, gyms etc.

PCMC Commissioner Rajesh Patil has issued the order which will be from Monday (August 9).

According to the order, all essential shops will open on all days. Non-essential shops can remain open from 7 am to 8 pm on all days except weekly off. All restaurants, bars, hotels, foodcourts will be allowed to open till 10 pm on all days for dining with 50% capacity and home delivery will be allowed till 11 pm.

Malls will also reopen but only those people will be allowed entry who have taken both doses of Covid vaccine. Also, employees of shops there will have to undergo Covid test (rapid antigen test) every 15 days.

All gardens will open as per their regular time.
Except swimming and close contact games, all other sports activities have been allowed.

All schools, colleges will remain closed for regular classes. Online classes will continue.

Competitive exams training centres/coaching classes can conduct classes till 8 pm with 50% capacity. The trainees and trainers are required to take atleast one dose of Covid vaccine for attending the classes.

Gyms, spa, salon, beauty parlour, wellness centers can open with 50% capacity till 8 pm with prior appointment.

All religious places will remain closed.

There will be curfew from 11 pm to 5 am except for emergency services.
