Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad Half Marathon Sees Massive Turnout

Pimple Saudagar, 5th December 2021: A half marathon was organised today morning by KiShaan Sports India Pvt Ltd in association with Shatrughna Kate, Unnati Foundation and Yashada Realty. Around 2000 participants flocked to the venue early morning.

The race had three categories 21 km, 10 km and 5 km with an open and veteran category at PCMC ground, Kunal Icon road. The event took place in beautiful weather.

The excitement amongst the runner community was high as a live event has taken place after two years due to the Coronavirus disease (COVID19) pandemic. Dr Kaustubh Radkar was the race ambassador for the event.

The route for the half marathon was non-vehicular, and this was the first event where participants ran in BRT corridor.
