Pune: PMC Demolishes Five Unauthorized Buildings In Lohegoan

Lohegaon, 12th August 2021: Five unauthorized constructions at DY Patil College Road, S.N. 302, Moze Nagar was hammered by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). The day-long demolishing operation has left unauthorized builders in commotion.

Unauthorized constructions have scattered everywhere in Lohegaon. As the development plan of Lohegaon has not been approved, a large number of constructions are going on at all places. Notices were issued by PMC to control these constructions but citizens are constructing despite the notice.

On Wednesday, action was taken by the municipal corporation on unauthorized constructions. The action was taken against five buildings throughout the day today by issuing notices to ongoing constructions.

The structures were demolished with the help of JCB and cutters. The action was taken by deputy engineer Pradeep Haridas, junior engineers Neelkanth Shilwant, Dattatreya Chavan, Kiran Kalshetty, Nikhil Gulecha under the guidance of executive engineer Rohidas Gavane.

Meanwhile, the municipal building development department has appealed to citizens not to carry out illegal constructions in the Lohegaon area.
