Pune PMC Elections: BJP–RPI Candidates Stress Planned Development During Ward 4 Campaign
Kharadi/Wagholi, 13th January 2026: Ahead of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) elections, candidates of the BJP–RPI alliance from Ward No. 4 carried out an extensive door-to-door campaign across several housing societies, directly interacting with residents and outlining their development agenda.
The campaign covered major residential complexes including Aishwarya Laxmi, Ganesh Heights, Rainbow Glory, Prestige Park, Tara Tarang, Oxy Evolve, Jail Society, Kshitij Residency and surrounding areas. During these visits, the candidates engaged with citizens, listening to their daily civic issues, development-related concerns and expectations from their elected representatives.
The candidates assured residents that people-centric, planned and inclusive development would remain their core focus. They said local issues raised during the interactions would be prioritised, with an emphasis on transparent governance and timely solutions.
Speaking jointly, Group A candidate Shailjit Jaywant Bansode, Group B candidate Ratnamala Sandeep Satav, Group C candidate Tripti Santosh Bharane and Group D candidate Surendra Bapusaheb Pathare said the development of Ward No. 4 would be carried out in a transparent, balanced and future-oriented manner. They stressed that active citizen participation is essential for building a strong democratic system and a capable civic ward.
Concluding the campaign, the candidates appealed to residents to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming civic polls and support leadership committed to sustainable urban development, better infrastructure and improved quality of life in Pune.
