Pune: PMC Releases Order To Close Schools For Class 1 To 8 Till January 30, 2022

Pune, 4th January 2022: As per the decision taken during the COVID review meeting today, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has issued an order to close the schools for classes 1 to 8 till January 30.

Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar stated online classes will be allowed. This order is also applicable to schools located in the Pune cantonment and Khadki cantonment areas.

The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in the presence of Health Minister Rajesh Tope, Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil, elected representatives and officials from different departments.
