Pune: PMPML Bus Started From Shewalewadi to Alandi; Four Buses To Depart From Shewalewadi Depot

Shewalewadi, 29th March 2023: Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) bus service has been started from Shewalewadi Depot to Alandi. This morning the first two buses decorated with flowers left for Alandi chanting the name of Saint Dnyaneshwar Maharaj to the sound of Taal-Mrudung. The bus service was inaugurated by former Sarpanch Pandharinath Shewale, Ramdada Shewale, Pandurang Shewale, and Depot manager Surendra Dangat.

Former Deputy Sarpanch Rahul Shewale informed that despite the neighboring depot, the devotees and other citizens of Solapur Road had to go to Hadapsar Gadital to go to Alandi or that route.

“We had demanded that there should be a bus from Shewalewadi to Alandi. Accordingly, the bus has started. We are going to demand getting a bus from here to Dehu road. Both these buses will provide good convenience to the devotees,” he added further.

Surendra Dangat, Shewalewadi Agar Manager said, “According to the orders of the seniors, a bus has been started from Shewalewadi depot to Alandi. At present, this bus will have two trips in the morning and two in the afternoon. The distance of travel is 36 kilometers and the ticket price is Rs 45.”

Shantaram Shewale, Vasant Shewale, Sunil Shewale, Chandrakant Shewale, Deepak Shewale, Sanjay Kodre, Vijay Kodre, Sambhaji Hake, Former Sarpanch Pratima Shewale, Vaishali Harpale, Rasika Kumbharkar, Digambar Shewale, Kailash Jaiswal, Ram Khedekar, Ramesh Kodre, Vijay Shewale, Jaiprakash Shah, PMPML’s Shivaji Chand and others were present on this occasion.
