Pune: PMPML Driver Found Murdered In Handewadi Area
The deceased has been identified as Gautam Machhindra Salunkhe, a resident of Papadevasti in Fursungi.
According to police, Salunkhe worked as a driver with PMPML for the last two and a half years. On Saturday, he worked driving buses on the Swargate to Dhayari route. After working all day, he left Swargate depot around 10 pm on Saturday to go home on his bike. However, as he did not return home till Sunday morning, his father-in-law went to Swargate depot and inquired about him. However, he found out that Salunkhe had gone home after completing his duty at night.
Today afternoon, Salunkhe’s body was found in an open space in the Handewadi area. His face was disfigured with stone. Police are investigating the case to find out the killers.
Salunkhe got married seven years ago and has a two-year-old daughter. He stayed at his father-in-law’s place.
