Pune: Pregnant Woman Dies By Suicide In Kondhwa; Leaves Note Saying “Tired of Life”
Kondhwa, 3rd July 2025: A 19-year-old woman, who was seven months pregnant, died by suicide at her rented apartment in Kondhwa on Wednesday (2nd July) afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Khajura Suresh Sunar, a native of Nepal who had been residing in Pune with her husband, a security guard.
According to the information given by the Kondhwa Police, the incident came to light when Khajura’s husband, Suresh Sunar, returned home after work and received no response upon knocking. With the help of neighbours, he broke open the door and discovered his wife hanging inside the house.
Police then arrived at the scene and started the investigation. The woman’s body was then sent to Sassoon General Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Upon investigating the area, a suicide note was recovered, in which Khajura wrote, “I am tired of life. I have no complaint against anyone.”
The case has been registered as an accidental death at Kondhwa Police Station. Authorities have stated that inquiries are ongoing to rule out any possible external influences in the case.
