Pune Rural Police Arrests Thieves and Seizes Goods Worth Rs 11.5 Lakh

Parner, 24th March 2023: The Pune Rural Police’s local crime branch has apprehended a gang of robbers from Parner in Nagar city. They confiscated a submarine motor bore motor, mulching paper, and two vehicles worth Rs 11.50 lakh from the group. It was discovered that the gang had stolen goods from two stores in Narayangaon police station limits.

The following people were detained: Subhash Bhoraji Dudhwade (27) and Gajanan Dhwaji Dudhwade, who live in Pardara, Waranwadi, Pokhari taluka Parner, Nagar, Ajay Ranganath Vagh (26) Gurewadi, Mhasoba Jhap, taluka Parner, Sonyabapu Genbhau Madhe (23), and Bhausaheb Raosaheb Dudhwade (28), a resident of Khandarmal, Malvadwadi, taluka Sangamner.

In the case of theft of agricultural materials from shops, the Narayangaon police station and the local crime branch were conducting a parallel inquiry. API Mahadev Shelar, Deepak Sable, Sandeep Ware, and Akshay Navale did the technical research under the direction of Superintendent of Police Ankit Goyal and Inspector of Police Avinash Shilimkar.

The robbers in Parner had taken the products by breaking into the house at that time. As a result, the squad rushed to Parner and apprehended the perpetrators. They confiscated Rs 11.5 lakhs, including mulching paper, bore motor, submarine motor, agricultural pump, and two vehicles, from them.

Superintendent of Police Ankit Goyal, Additional Superintendent Mitesh Ghatte, Inspector Avinash Shilimkar supervised the operation. The investigation team included API Mahadev Shelar and Tushar Pandare, Deepak Sable, Vikram Tapkir, Mangesh Thigley, Raju Momin, Janardhan Shelke, Sandeep Ware, Akshay Navale, Dagdu Virkar, and Akshay Supe.
