Pune: ‘Samvad Wari’ Exhibition on Government Welfare Schemes Inaugurated by Rural Development Minister Jaykumar Gore

Pune, 21st June 2025: An informative exhibition titled ‘Samvad Wari’, showcasing key welfare schemes and initiatives of the Maharashtra state government, was inaugurated today by Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Jaykumar Gore. The event, organized by the Directorate General of Information and Public Relations, took place in the premises of the Maharashtra Legislature in Pune.

The exhibition aims to raise awareness among citizens about various developmental schemes through a combination of LED display vans, cultural troupes, and tableau vehicles. The initiative will accompany the ongoing Palkhi processions of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Sant Tukaram Maharaj, with the displays stationed at halting points and along the pilgrimage route.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Divisional Commissioner Dr. Chandrakant Pulkundwar, Zilla Parishad CEO Gajanan Patil, Additional CEO Chandrakant Waghmare, and District Information Officer Dr. Ravindra Thakur.

The exhibition includes 30 flex panels detailing several flagship initiatives such as:
Kisan Credit Cards for livestock farmers
Entrepreneurship promotion under Livestock Development Mission
Schemes under Baliraja (farmer welfare) programs
Food safety and anti-adulteration testing facilities
Chief Minister’s Solar Agricultural Feeder Scheme
AgriStack registration for availing agricultural scheme benefits
‘Mahavistaar-AI’ mobile app
Cybersecurity awareness programs
Irrigation projects
Establishment of senior citizen cells in the Ministry of Social Justice
Restructuring of the Transgender Welfare Board
Formation of the Maharashtra Scheduled Tribes Commission
Approval of 30 lakh houses under PMAY Phase 2
PM-Janman, Ramai, Shabari, Atal Construction Worker Housing, and Modi Awas Yojana
