Pune: Thieves Fire In Attempt To Loot Jewellery Shop
Katraj, 23rd October 2022: A group of thieves a jewellery shop and opened fire in the Dattanagar area of the Katraj area on Saturday night.
The incident took place at ‘Shri Malhar Jewellers’. The owner closed the shop as usual at night and went home.
Meanwhile, at eleven o’clock in the night, two men came on a two-wheeler with the intention of robbing the shop.
The thieves with handkerchiefs tied around their faces tried to steal from the shop. At that time, the alarm in the shop went off. So the citizens became alert. After this sudden incident, the thieves ran away. The thieves fired a pistol in the air.
After getting information about the incident, the police officers and staff of Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station rushed to the spot. Police are checking the CCTV footage and tracing the group.
