Pune Traffic Alert: Hadapsar–Dive Ghat Road Closed for Two Hours on Feb 23
Pune, 22nd February 2026: The Traffic Branch of the Pune City Police has issued a public advisory informing citizens about a temporary traffic suspension on the Alandi–Pandharpur Palkhi Highway stretch between Hadapsar and Dive Ghat on February 23.
According to DCP (Traffic) Himmat Jadhav, the closure is necessary due to blasting work scheduled as part of a road-widening project at Dive Ghat. Traffic movement on this route will remain completely suspended from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Authorities have urged commuters and motorists to use alternate routes during this period to avoid inconvenience. The advisory has been issued following a request from the National Highways Authority of India, which is carrying out the infrastructure work.
The Traffic Branch has appealed to residents to cooperate with officials and plan their travel accordingly to ensure smooth traffic management and public safety.
